I want to have faith like this.
Faith is a gift from God. God gives faith freely to anyone who asks for it. Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word of Christ. (Romans 10:17).
Faith is an action word. Faith does not just sit and contemplate.
By faith Noah built.
By faith Abraham went.
By faith Moses forsook Egypt.
By faith the prostitute Rahab was saved. (See Hebrews 11).That is why Jesus said: If anyone is willing to do His will, he will know of the teaching, whether it is of God or whether I speak from Myself. (John 7:17, NASB)
From personal experience, I can tell you that God did not actively work in my life until I began to put into practice even the little I knew about His will for me. Then my burden of guilt from sin was lifted. Then my heart began to sing within me.
