TWICE
TWICE (Two Way Interactive Connections in Education) is
a newly established organization
that promotes and supports collaborative connections using
two way interactive video for the benefit of Michigan students.
This web site was launched in the spring of 2001.
SouthwestNet
Distance Learning Collaborative
This is a regional project of 20 public school distric ts
in Berrien and Cass Counties, including the Berrien and
the Lewis-Cass Intermediate School Districts. The web site,
established January 2000, offers program and scheduling
information for our interactive video conferencing network.
It also includes extensive information on video
field trips and their correlation to the Michigan Curriculum
Framework, including two searchable databases.
Berrien
County Connect
Berrien County Connect is designed to connect education
and community; technology and interdisciplinary subjects;
and Michigan content standards with classroom practice.
It provides a place for students to publish writing about
their county; a place for teachers to learn about resources
in the county; and a place for students to collect, analyze,
and publish data about the county. This site was established
in 1998 to meet the needs of teachers in Berrien County.
Classroom
Resources
When I started working at the Berrien
County Intermediate School District in 1997, I expanded
Jim Bembenek's work on this site to its current look and
organization. Kevin Clark currently maintains the site and
began in the summer of 1999.
