Easy Internet Activities
Learn about some simple ways to integrate the Internet into your face-to-face and/or online instructions. Collaborative projects with other classrooms, scavenger hunts, hotlists, and ways to structure Internet research will be addressed.

Jigsaws & Online Communication (with Shirley Freed)
Experience the jigsaw group strategy in an online chat. Explore the possibilities for structuring discussion and group learning in an online environment.

Structures for Online Courses
Routine and structure in an online course are the safety net that helps students feel comfortable and safe in an online learning environment. Come experience a process for creating a course structure and template that you can use for your own online course.

WebQuests
A WebQuest is "an inquiry-oriented activity in which most or all of the information used by learners is drawn from the Web." Learn about webquests, find useful WebQuests for your curriculum area, and get started on creating your own WebQuest. The WebQuest instructional strategy can be used in both face-to-face and online courses, and is used at all grade levels, including higher education.
