If God is going to destroy sin and sinners eventually, why doesn't He do it now?
The reality is God is waiting for you to accept Him as your Savior so He can give you eternal life. He wants you to exercise your free choice. He says, Come now, let us reason together. . . Though your sins are like scarlet, they shall be as white as snow; though they are red like crimson, they shalll be as wool. Isaiah 1:18, NKJV.
If we confess our sins, He is faithful and just to forgive us our sins and to cleanse us from all unrighteousness. 1 John 1:9, NKJV. For the wages of sin is death, but the gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 6:23, NKJV. But as many as received Him to them He gave the right to become children of God, to those who believe in His name. John 1:12, NKJV.
God desires all men to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4, NKJV. The Lord is not slack concerning His promise, as some count slackness, but is longsuffering toward us, not willing that any should perish but that all should come to repentance. 2 Peter 3:9, NKJV.
The truth of the matter is that God does not want anyone to be lost. Therefore He waits. He will continue to wait until everyone has had an opportunity to come to repentance and accept Christ as Lord and Savior. If you are tired of disease, death, and misery in this world. Why not accept Christ as your Savior? Become a disciple of His to share the good news of this gospel so He will not have to wait so long for everyone to hear of His righteous kingdom.
