Are you sure God can't save them?

The lost sinner's character is so out of harmony with God's character that if the sinner were taken to heaven it would be more torture than hell. All will see that they have unfitted themselves for life with God; that Heaven to them would be eternal torture because they are so out of harmony with its spirit of love, purity, and peace. And to allow them to live on in the misery, disease and torment of sin would be unthinkable to God's love. Out of mercy to them they will be eradicated by the second death.

But God desires that everyone be saved. God desires all to be saved and to come to the knowledge of the truth. 1 Timothy 2:4, NKJV. God has elected us all to something better than the lake of fire. If God had His way, none would be lost and He would save all mankind. But He has agreed not to force salvation on anyone. People will only end up in that lake of fire because they have not believed what God says, accepted His gifts to them, or continued to make use of them until the end. Therefore brethren, be even more diligent to make your calling and election sure, for if you do these things you will never stumble. 2 Peter 1:10, NKJV.

Why does God have to eradicate the sinners?

Will sin happen again?
